Food: 3 Stars Service: 5 Stars Ambience: 3 Stars Value: 5 Stars Sanitary: 5 Stars Overall: 4.2 Stars Visited here for the first time and was immediately impressed by the all-women staff — such a refreshing and empowering vibe. Everyone was super welcoming, friendly, and made the experience feel personal and comfortable. We ordered their Chef Burger, and the portion size honestly caught me off guard — generous and hearty, with super fresh ingredients that you could actually taste. The burger came out looking beautiful, and the patty was juicy, but the overall experience leaned more toward a sandwich than a classic burger. The bread-to-burger ratio felt off, with a baguette-style bun that overpowered the patty. It made it harder to enjoy the textures and flavours together. While the patty was moist, it was a bit under-seasoned — juicy but somehow bland, if that makes sense. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what it was missing, but it needed a flavour boost or maybe a sauce that tied everything together. That said, I’m still intrigued by the rest of the menu — especially the lamb brain sandwich, which I’m definitely coming back to try. I think their strength might lie more in their sandwiches, and I’m looking forward to exploring more of what they offer. Great energy, great team, and a solid spot to grab a fresh bite. Just not quite the burger experience I expected — but still worth the visit. xx kellychan360

Chef Burger has a nice, cozy atmosphere, though the space is a bit small. The staff were very polite and friendly. I tried their special burger—it was tasty and good quality, but I feel it could be a bit better. Overall, a pleasant place to grab a bite!

If you’re craving a sandwich like the classic Maghz o Zaban from Baharan in Tehran, this is the place to go. Chef Burger brings back that familiar taste with a fresh, flavorful twist. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the quality of the ingredients really stands out. Highly recommend giving it a try if you’re looking for a nostalgic Persian-style sandwich in Toronto.

Want big juicy burger? Check out this mom &pop fast food served at this Persian burger joint tucked away in a corner of Yonge street. Three sizes of burger big enough to serve an army, grilled before your eyes. The small burger is still huge, with regular toppings is $11. You get to select the toppings for your burger. Kick it up a notch with melted cheese and sautéed mushroom for more tasty burger. You choose what you want and build your meal. The French fries are crispy and well seasoned. The fries portion serving is more than enough for two people. ( Everything is bigger than regular size portion). In fact, eat the fries and burger and you won't need to eat for two days . burger, fries, and a can of pop cost $25.

Chef Burger was a great stop! We had the Bandari sandwich and a burger, both were tasty and satisfying. The real highlight was the excellent service; the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. Overall, a solid experience with good food and great hospitality.

I absolutely love their brain and tongue sandwich! It’s a nostalgic treat from Iran that I haven’t been able to find anywhere else in Toronto. The flavors take me back, and it’s a must-try. If you enjoy traditional sandwiches like this, you definitely need to check out Chef Burger! (In the picture, you see half of it, it’s huge enough for one person, so don’t worry!)

Review for Chef Burger I tried their Super Burger, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavor was rich, juicy, and just like the authentic Iranian-style burgers I remember. Honestly, it’s the best burger I’ve had here so far. On top of that, the price was very reasonable and budget-friendly, making it even better. Highly recommended!

This restaurant serves Iranian food, and I’ve been here twice so far — both times I ordered Cootlet and Samosa. The portions were really large, the food was delicious and nostalgic, and it was ready super fast! The Cootlet tasted just like homemade ones. This time the Samosa was a bit spicy for me personally, and the Cootlet was a little less salty than I’d prefer, but that didn’t take away from how much I enjoyed it at all — I really had a great time.
